Emily Goodbear serves as an Advanced Clinical Intern at Anesis, where she applies her extensive academic and practical expertise in mental health. Emily holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. With three years of experience in the field, her primary focus areas are working with children and older adults, employing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to facilitate their mental wellness.

Emily's personal philosophy on mental health treatment emphasizes the proactive role of the individual, encapsulated in her belief that "Mental health treatment works, but it starts with you." She has not yet contributed to research or publications but brings a unique skill of adaptability to her role, enhancing her effectiveness across diverse situations.

Outside of her professional life, Emily enjoys running and engaging in various crafts. An interesting aspect of her involvement beyond the clinic includes community outreach for the Ho-chunk Nation, reflecting her commitment to her heritage and community wellness.
