Role Summary

Anesis Psychotherapists provide culturally sensitive outpatient mental health services to children, adolescents and adults, particularly people of color and multicultural families.

Key Responsibilities 

• Deliver evidence-based, trauma-informed psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families.

• Perform comprehensive psychosocial assessments, develop treatment goals, and create individualized care plans.

• Provide individualized therapy using various therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychoanalysis, or person-centered therapy.

• Implement culturally responsive interventions across the lifespan and apply system-based approaches for individuals and families, specifically including families that are blended or involved in adoption or foster care.

• Accurately complete all required clinical documentation (treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries, aftercare plans, billing records) within state and agency timelines.

• Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and state statutes.

• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, supervision, and professional development.

• Collaborate with colleagues, community partners, and referral sources to enhance care coordination and service delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Master’s in social work, Counseling, Clinical Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or similar fields. 

• Certification (or significant coursework & experience) in adoption and substance abuse counseling.

• Active state licensure (Wisconsin LPC or LCSW).

• This position requires work to be completed onsite, with hybrid eligibility (1 remote day per week from Dane county residence).

Role Summary

The Clinical Supervisor provides direct clinical supervision and support to outpatient Psychotherapists while maintaining a small client caseload. This role serves as a key bridge between frontline clinical practice and department leadership, ensuring high-quality, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed care. The Clinical Supervisor supports clinician development, documentation quality, and clinical decision-making, while reinforcing agency standards, accountability, and alignment with Anesis’ mission. Working closely with the Outpatient Director, this role contributes to a strong supervision culture, regulatory compliance, and consistent clinical excellence across the outpatient department, with particular attention to serving BIPOC and historically marginalized communities.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Supervision & Staff Support

Provide regular individual and group clinical supervision to outpatient Psychotherapists in accordance with licensure, agency, and ethical standards.
Support clinicians in case conceptualization, treatment planning, risk assessment, and clinical decision-making.
Foster a supervision culture that is reflective, supportive, accountable, and growth-oriented.
Provide timely feedback, coaching, and documentation review to support clinician development and performance.
Identify emerging clinical, ethical, or performance concerns and collaborate with the Outpatient Director on next steps.

Clinical Oversight & Quality Assurance

Support the delivery of evidence-based, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive outpatient services.
Review clinical documentation (assessments, treatment plans, progress notes) to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with agency and state standards.
Support adherence to HIPAA, ethical guidelines, and Wisconsin licensure requirements.
Provide consultation and support for high-risk cases, crisis situations, and safety planning, including coordination with After Hours Support Line protocols.

Operational & Team Collaboration

Support clinicians in meeting service hour expectations and documentation timelines while maintaining quality care.
Partner with the Outpatient Director to reinforce standardized clinical processes, policies, and expectations.
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, department initiatives, and quality improvement efforts.
Support onboarding and mentorship of new outpatient clinicians.

Direct Clinical Practice

Maintain a limited outpatient caseload to remain clinically engaged and model best practices.
Deliver high-quality psychotherapy services consistent with agency values and standards.

Success Profile:

Required Skills & Qualifications

Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Counseling/Clinical Psychology, or Marriage & Family Therapy.
Active Wisconsin mental health licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Psychologist) in good standing for a minimum of 2 years.
Minimum of 3–5 years of post-licensure clinical experience providing outpatient psychotherapy.
Demonstrated experience providing clinical supervision or consultation to mental health clinicians.
Strong grounding in trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and evidence-based clinical practice.
Demonstrated commitment to serving BIPOC and historically marginalized communities.
Ability to provide clear, supportive, and constructive feedback while maintaining accountability.
Strong clinical judgment, ethical decision-making, and risk assessment skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including timely and accurate documentation.
Proficiency with EHR systems, documentation platforms, and telehealth delivery.
Comfort navigating technology tools including Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and electronic forms.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining continuing education requirements.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Bilingual proficiency (e.g., English/Spanish, English/Hmong).
Training or certification in trauma-focused or culturally specific treatment approaches (e.g., EMDR, TF-CBT).
Experience supervising clinicians working with children, adolescents, and families.
Familiarity with Dane County Human Services or similar community systems.
Experience supporting clinicians in early-career development or licensure progression.

Position Overview: Our clinic is on a rapid growth trajectory and we are looking for a human service professional to serve as a Service Facilitator at Anesis Therapy. This position accomplishes clients’ care by assessing treatment needs; developing, monitoring, and evaluating treatment plans and progress.

Responsibilities

- Admits new clients by reviewing records and applications; conducting orientations.

- Improves staff competence by providing educational resources; balancing work requirements with learning opportunities; evaluating the application of learning to changes in treatment results.

- Improves treatment results by studying, evaluating, and redesigning processes; implementing changes; rewriting policies and procedures.

- Completes documentation and progress notes within a timely manner.

- Meets budget by monitoring expenses; implementing cost-saving actions.

- Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing treatment and results data and trends; compiling statistics; completing grant and subsidy applications.

- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

Independent Contractor Notice:

This position is structured as an independent contractor (1099) role. Contractors maintain autonomy over their clinical practice, scheduling, and work hours while utilizing Anesis Therapy’s administrative infrastructure and referral network. Contractors are responsible for maintaining their own professional liability insurance and complying with Texas licensing regulations.

Location:

Compensation:

Clinicians receive a 60/40 revenue split, with the clinician receiving 60% of collected revenue.

Responsibilities:

• Provide psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, and families via telehealth

• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation

• Collaborate with the Anesis administrative team when needed
