    Role Summary:

    The Outpatient Director provides leadership and oversight of Anesis Therapy’s Outpatient Department, ensuring high-quality, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed care. This role manages day-to-day clinical and operational functions, supervises outpatient staff and supervisors, and supports alignment with Anesis’ mission. The Director is responsible for cultivating a positive and accountable department culture, implementing standardized processes, and ensuring that outpatient services meet clinical, operational, and financial expectations. Working closely with the Senior Director of Clinical Services and other agency leaders, this role ensures continuity of care, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence while supporting the growth and sustainability of the department.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Department Leadership & Supervision

    • Promote a team culture that is collaborative, accountable, and aligned with Anesis’ values.

    • Provide direct supervision, coaching, and evaluation of outpatient supervisors and clinicians.

    • Support staff development through training, mentorship, and structured feedback.

    Clinical Oversight

    • Ensure outpatient services are evidence-based, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive.

    • Monitor quality of care through documentation review, case consultation, and adherence to agency and licensure standards.

    • Oversee compliance with state and federal regulations, HIPAA, ethical standards, and DHS 75.50: Outpatient Integrated Behavioral Health Treatment Service certification standards. 

    • Provide crisis management support and coordination for outpatient staff and clients, ensuring coordination of care.

    Operational Management

    • Partner with billing and operations teams to align outpatient workflows with revenue cycle processes.

    • Monitor productivity, caseload expectations, and performance metrics, balancing staff well-being with operational needs.

    • Implement and maintain standardized policies, procedures, and documentation practices.

    Strategic Contribution

    • Collaborate with the Senior Director to refine outpatient services, goals, and long-term sustainability.

    • Contribute to cross-departmental initiatives, quality improvement efforts, and agency-wide trainings.

    • Support hiring, onboarding, and retention of outpatient clinicians and supervisors.

    • Hold a small client caseload to maintain clinical engagement and model best practices.

    Client & Community Engagement

    • Ensure outpatient services remain responsive to client and community needs, with particular attention to BIPOC and historically marginalized populations.

    • Support culture and climate initiatives to foster staff wellness, belonging, and joy in the workplace.

    • Coordinate outpatient grants, including reporting, compliance, and alignment with department goals.

    Success Profile: 

    Required Skills & Qualifications

    • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Counseling/Clinical Psychology, or Marriage & Family Therapy.

    • Active Wisconsin mental health licensure (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, Psychologist).

    • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

    • Demonstrated leadership experience in outpatient/community mental health or related settings.

    • Knowledge of DHS 75.50: Outpatient Integrated Behavioral Health Treatment Service, including experience supporting certification through oversight, policy, and compliance practices.

    • Strong understanding of clinical documentation, compliance standards, and revenue cycle processes.

    • Demonstrated experience in crisis management and coordination in outpatient or community-based settings.

    • Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, manage conflict, and build accountability systems.

    • Demonstrated commitment to serving BIPOC and historically marginalized communities.

    • Proficiency with EHR systems, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    Preferred Skills & Qualifications

    • Bilingual proficiency (e.g., English/Spanish, English/Hmong).

    • Knowledge of Dane County Human Services or similar systems.

    • Specialized training or certification in trauma-focused or culturally specific treatment approaches.

    • Experience in program development, quality improvement, or organizational change initiatives.

    • Experience with grants management, professional development coordination, or staff culture/climate initiatives.

    Position Summary:

    The primary purpose of the role is to offer trauma-informed assistance to parents, empowering them with skills to foster positive relationships with their children and effectively navigate challenges. This grant-funded position includes work with CCS families and entails serving a diverse community, including Spanish speakers.

    Essential Funtions/Requirements:

    • Serve a minimum of 12 parents/families concurrently and up to 20 parents/families annually,

      ensuring prompt contact within 1 week of referral and maintaining documentation of related issues.

    • Conduct weekly contact with parents, offering 6-8 hours of monthly direct service and support to each family.

    • Complete WI Caregiver Background Check and required training, including WI Certified Parent Peer Specialist, trauma-informed, and adolescent development.

    • Utilize a trauma-informed lens in all interactions and interventions with parents, prioritizing cultural sensitivity and inclusivity, especially with BIPOC individuals or families.

    • Collaborate closely with the Dane County Department of Human Services, submitting monthly progress reports and other required documentation such as 610’s and quarterly program updates.

    • Determine family completion of the program in conjunction with Dane County, ensuring goals are met and outcomes are achieved.

    • Staff are required to work 2-3 nights per week, specifically until 7 PM

    Position Overview: Our clinic is on a rapid growth trajectory and we are looking for a human service professional to serve as a Service Facilitator at Anesis Therapy. This position accomplishes clients’ care by assessing treatment needs; developing, monitoring, and evaluating treatment plans and progress.

    Responsibilities

    - Admits new clients by reviewing records and applications; conducting orientations.

    - Determines clients' requirements by completing intake interviews; determining need for therapeutic medical, psycho-social, and psychiatric evaluations; reviewing therapist evaluations, treatment objectives, and plans.

    - Establishes treatment programs by setting schedules and routines; coordinating services being provided; arranging resources, including transportation and escort.

    - Monitors cases by verifying clients' attendance; observing and evaluating treatments and responses; advocating for needed services and entitlements; obtaining additional resources; intervening in crisis; providing personal support.

    - Maintains clients' records by reviewing case notes; logging events and progress.

    - Communicates clients' progress by conducting weekly interdisciplinary meetings and evaluations; disseminating results and obstacles to the therapeutic team and family; identifying treatment influences.

    - Prepares clients' discharge by reviewing and amplifying discharge plans; coordinating discharge and post-discharge requirements; orienting and training family members; providing resources.

    - Improves staff competence by providing educational resources; balancing work requirements with learning opportunities; evaluating the application of learning to changes in treatment results.

    - Improves treatment results by studying, evaluating, and redesigning processes; implementing changes; rewriting policies and procedures.

    - Completes documentation and progress notes within a timely manner.

    - Meets budget by monitoring expenses; implementing cost-saving actions.

    - Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing treatment and results data and trends; compiling statistics; completing grant and subsidy applications.

    - Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

    - Sign clinical notes within 24-48 hours of seeing a client.

    - Revise clinical notes as required by the clinical supervisor within 24 hours of notice of the need to revise clinical notes.

    Education Requirements:

    Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy.

    Licensed by the State of Wisconsin DSPS, Marriage and Family Therapy Professional Counseling and Social Work, or eligible to sit the Clinical exam.

    Position Summary: Provide home-based family therapy services to families with children 0-17 primarily utilizing MultiDimensional Family Therapy (MDFT) modality in addition to parenting support and skill building, care coordination and resource collaboration. Requires working relationship with Dane County Human Services including child protection and youth justice social workers. This position reports to the program supervisor.

    Additional requirements:

    Applicants must demonstrate an ability to work with BIPOC individuals or families and communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license, a vehicle in good working condition, and automobile liability insurance that meets minimum agency requirements. Satisfactory completion of a criminal history background check, including no history of DUI violations.

    SKILLS(Minimum):

    -Experience through internship or prior work experience providing counseling services to families, children or individuals within a clinical setting.

    -Serve high-risk families, including those whose children are at substantial risk of placement or who are in placement and cannot be reunified without in-home services. Provide services primarily in client homes. Travel to client homes and other locations.

    -Schedule sessions at times that are convenient for families, and when problems are likely to occur, including 2-3 evenings. Maintain a flexible work life balance. No Weekends or Holidays

    -Participate in weekly team consultation meetings, and individual supervision as needed.

    -Assess safety, structure the environment and use clinical strategies designed to promote safety.

    -Provide a range of clinical, concrete and advocacy services to family members that are consistent with the family’s values, learning styles, lifestyle, circumstances and culture.

    -Develop and maintain a positive, collegial working relationship with family members and system participants.

    -Conduct comprehensive, strength-based and behavior focused assessments through use of MDFT trained module

    -Collaborate with family members and referents in developing intervention goals and service plans.

    -Collaborate and advocate with formal and informal community resources and systems.
