Care Coordinator
Meet Monique Lea, a Care Coordinator. With an Associate degree in business with an emphasis on Banking and a strong background in customer service, Monique brings a unique skill set to her role, ensuring our clients receive exceptional care and assistance.
Though relatively new to the mental health field, Monique's perspective on the importance of mental health has significantly broadened since she started at Anesis Therapy. She firmly believes in the power of prayer, the value of active listening, and the benefits of meditation and devotion.
Monique is eager to learn more, specifically about the grant writing process, a skill that she believes will be beneficial in the mental health sector. Her open-mindedness and desire to understand more deeply demonstrate her commitment to her role and to the mental health field.
When she is not coordinating care at Anesis, Monique relishes spending time with family and friends, enjoying hearty laughs and sharing good times. She is an avid reader and writer who appreciates the peace that comes with minding her own business. She also loves learning new languages - she's been working on her Spanish, and even took Mandarin courses for two years in college.
Working at Anesis Therapy has not only helped Monique understand the importance of mental health better but also expanded her perspective on people in general. Her favorite quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson encapsulates her approach to life and work: "To laugh often and much; to win respect; to earn appreciation; to find beauty in others; to leave the world better; one life has breathed easier because you lived here." This sentiment truly embodies Monique's spirit and dedication to her role at Anesis Therapy.
