Enjoli Monique Harper, LCSW, CSAC, brings over a decade of experience in mental health and substance abuse counseling to her role as a Psychotherapist at Anesis Center For Marriage and Family Therapy. Enjoli holds a Master’s of Social Work from the University of Wisconsin- Madison, earned in 2012, along with dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in African American Studies and Social Welfare from the same institution, obtained in 2008.
With 12 years of dedicated service in the mental health field, Enjoli specializes in a comprehensive range of areas including Mental Health, Substance Use, Crisis Intervention and Stabilization, Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, BPAD, PTSD, ODD, Antisocial Personality Disorder, Gambling Addiction, Grief and Loss, and Life Transitions. Her therapeutic approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, person-centered care, holistic interventions, motivational interviewing (MI), and positive psychology techniques, aiming to foster a supportive and transformative environment for her clients.
While Enjoli has not contributed to research or publications, her personal philosophy on mental health treatment emphasizes the interconnectedness of mental and holistic health, advocating for nourishment and protection through diligent self-care. She believes in the power of a positive mindset leading to positive actions and outcomes.
Outside her professional life, Enjoli enjoys spending quality time with family, friends, and her fur babies. She has a passion for traveling, dining, attending concerts and comedy shows, engaging in sports, and indulging in creative activities like soap making and baking. Additionally, Enjoli finds solace in lighting candles, enjoying waterfalls, ambient lighting, meditation with nature sounds, and maintaining her physical health through cardiovascular exercises and weightlifting.
Enjoli takes pride in having worked with some of the most vulnerable populations, witnessing firsthand the potential for positive change even in seemingly dire circumstances. She is a firm believer in the capacity for change, growth, and sustainability and strives to inspire hope and positivity in others.
A fun fact about Enjoli is her unique ability to bend her thumbs flat back. What she cherishes most about her work at Anesis and in the mental health field at large is providing individuals with the necessary space, time, and resources to heal and enhance their lives, fostering an environment where transformation is not just possible, but expected.
