Cindy Abrajan
Psychotherapist
Cindy Abrajan, a devoted Psychotherapist and LPC-IT at Anesis Therapy, holds a Bachelor's in Sociology and a Master's in Counseling Psychology, both from UW-Madison. She has a profound commitment to supporting marginalized communities, particularly BIPOC and low-income families, stemming from her experience working with non-profit organizations and in college settings. As a bilingual psychotherapist fluent in English and Spanish, Cindy specializes in Latine mental health and a myriad of concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationships, and life transitions.
A strong believer in the transformative power of a safe and genuine therapeutic relationship, Cindy strives to understand each client's unique experiences, identities, and cultures. She is intrigued by the influence of early life experiences on present emotions, relationships, and overall life perspectives, and uses an intersectional, multicultural, and resilience-based approach in her practice. Cindy's therapeutic environment encourages clients to express their emotional vulnerability and growth without fear of judgment. Additionally, her commitment extends to advocacy work as she aids clients in navigating various systems.
When Cindy is not providing therapeutic care, she relishes in traveling, enjoying music, playing board or card games, rewatching her favorite TV shows, and spending quality time with her cats.
