Alayna Oby

(she/her/hers)

Psychologist

Alayna Oby guides individuals and couples in finding clarity, healing, and growth through evidence-based strategies tailored to each client's unique challenges. Together, she and her clients uncover the "heart of the matter," address unhelpful patterns, and build practical tools for lasting change. Alayna is attuned to the ways culture, ethnicity, family background, and spirituality shape emotional well-being and relationships.

For individuals, Alayna helps clients explore the root causes of distress and develop healthier ways of relating to themselves and others. For couples, she supports partners in moving beyond recurring "relational traps" toward greater depth, connection, and intimacy, honoring both cultural identities and, when desired, spiritual values.

Alayna's integrative approach draws from schema therapy, attachment theory, cognitive-behavioral strategies, Integrative Behavioral Couple Therapy (IBCT), and biblical principles when relevant. Sessions are exclusively online, and she is authorized to practice in most U.S. states through PSYPACT credentials, allowing her to remain a guide to clients across state lines.

Prospective clients are invited to schedule a brief phone consultation to see if Alayna's approach is a good fit. She is available to see clients in Wisconsin and Texas.
