Manuela Molina, LPC-IT

(she,her)

Psychotherapist

Manuela started her path to becoming a therapist when she began wanting to understand her own family dynamics and to improve her own emotional health. Though her experiences may differ from her clients’, she does know what it is like to do the tiring, rewarding and ongoing work of healing. She wants to support her clients as they begin and continue their own healing journeys.

As a Venezuelan immigrant who grew up in Wisconsin, Manuela values having a multicultural lens that focuses on topics such as acculturation, assimilation and oppression. She also has experience working with children, including those on the spectrum, with different abilities, or experiencing homelessness. Manuela is curious about and eager to explore the effects of her clients’ early relationships and attachments on their current relationships and identities.

She is a bilingual psychotherapist who specializes in Latine mental health, and works both in Outpatient services and within Anesis' In-Home Family Therapy program. She obtained a Bachelors in Psychology and French from UW Madison. In 2021, Manuela graduated with her Masters in Counseling Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
